EBP VII Hosts Second Ecoworld Connects Forum, Focuses On Business Growth

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Eco Business Park VII (EBP VII) today hosted its second edition of EcoWorld Connects: Business Ascend Forum, bringing together experienced speakers to discuss how businesses can prepare themselves for their next phase of growth.

Themed "The Next Leap", the forum featured Colony Coworking and Event Spaces chief executive officer (CEO) Timothy Tiah; Aerodyne Group Founder and CEO Datuk Dr Kamarul A Muhamed, and Santan CEO Catherine Goh as speakers.

During the sessions, participants learned how the speakers identified and acted on opportunities that drove the growth of their respective businesses, among which emphasis were placed on building a strong social media presence, problem solutions and brand building.

EcoWorld Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) deputy CEO Liew Tian Xiong said EcoWorld Connects was based on the idea that businesses grow faster when they grow together.

“The response to our first forum told us the community wanted more, so this time we brought in leaders who have taken that next leap themselves.

“EBP VII is designed as a business ecosystem, where space, community and connections come together to help companies take their next step with confidence,” he said in a statement today.

The forum builds on the inaugural edition held in December 2025, as part of EBP VII’s efforts to foster a thriving business community within EcoWorld’s next-generation integrated industrial hub in Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0).

It also marked the opening of registration for the SME Core’s second phase, following the full take-up of the first.

One Credit was among the partners hosting exhibition booths at the venue, where attendees met the teams and continued the morning's conversations. The morning closed with a by-invitation networking luncheon.

The speakers were joined by invited business leaders including YYC Group CEO Datin Yap Shin Siang; Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) president Datuk Liew Bin and EcoWorld's chief development officer (Eco Central-North & Eco Business Park) Datuk Ho Kwee Hong.

EBP VII is positioning itself as the address where businesses in MVV 2.0 take their next leap, with its sales gallery open to enquiries from companies looking to grow in the region.
