KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Wednesday.

The August 2026 and September 2026 contracts gained 11 points each to 1,744.0 and 1,722.0, respectively.

The December 2026 contract rose 8.5 points to 1,721.5, and March 2027 contract added eight points to 1,706.0.

Turnover increased to 7,336 lots from 6,661 lots on Tuesday, while open interest eased to 46,046 contracts from 46,453 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 10.15 points to 1,741.61 from yesterday’s close of 1,731.46.
