MCBA, MCAH Hold Meeting With Cambodia Commerce Ministry To Strengthen Bilateral Trade, Investment

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia-Cambodia Business Association (MCBA) and the Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall (MCAH) held a business engagement meeting with Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce to strengthen bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

Both sides exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, education, healthcare, tourism and business collaboration.

“Discussions included ways to encourage more Malaysian companies to explore investment opportunities and expand into the Cambodian market.

“The parties also covered ways to facilitate more promising Cambodian products entering the Malaysian market, thereby expanding bilateral trade and creating more opportunities for business matching,” said MCBA in a statement.

The meeting, which was held here yesterday, was jointly led by MCBA founding president Datuk Seri Ricky Yaw and MCAH president Datuk Seri Dr Chai Kee Kan.

Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce undersecretary of state Nam Lynal led the Cambodian delegation.
