KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Bernama) -- The RM10 billion loss incurred by Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) could have funded haj subsidies for a larger number of muassasah pilgrims -- particularly those from the B40 group -- to perform the pilgrimage over a period of more than 20 years.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) -- The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) said the Islamic pilgrimage fund should not have declared a 4.50 per cent annual profit distribution (hibah) and a 1.75 per cent hajj hibah, totalling RM2.75 billion, for the 2017 financial year.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 (Bernama) -- The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on Tabung Haji has recommended recovering RM2.19 million in bonuses paid to board members and management of TH Properties, as the bonuses were awarded without complying with prescribed regulations.
