National Audit Dept Opens Counters To Assist Companies Complete 2026 e-SelfAudit

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- The National Audit Department (NAD) will open helpdesk counters at its headquarters and state offices to assist government-owned companies in completing the 2026 e-SelfAudit System assessment.

In a statement today, the NAD said the counters will operate on Sept 11, 14 and 15, 2026 (Friday, Monday and Tuesday) for Federal and all states, except Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah, which will be available on Sept 13, 14 and 15, 2026 (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday).

NAD reiterated that companies that have not yet completed the self-assessment must complete it promptly to avoid delays.

“In this regard, companies that require advisory services, technical assistance, or other related services to complete the self-assessment of the e-SelfAudit System can visit NAD’s helpdesk counters,” it said.

According to NAD, for 2026, all other bodies, including government-owned companies gazetted under the Audit Order (Accounts of Other Entities) (Amendment) 2024 [P.U.(A) 331/2024], are required to complete the self-assessment through the e-SelfAudit System no later than Sept 15, 2026.

Since 2025, NAD has implemented an audit approach via the e-SelfAudit System involving 1,856 other bodies, including government-owned companies, nationwide.
