KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia was lower at midday due to profit-taking in selected heavyweights led by Petronas Chemicals, CelcomDigi and Tenaga Nasional, which was in line with the weakness in most regional peers despite news of a resumption of West Asia peace talks.

Bursa Malaysia Eases Further At Mid-morning

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia eased further in line with regional markets at mid-morning amid the latest developments in the West Asia conflict.

At 11.01 am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 0.94 point lower to 1,723.96 from last Friday’s close of 1,724.90.

The benchmark index opened 0.36 point higher at 1,725.26.
