DCO Opens Entries For Second Digital Prosperity Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) has launched the second edition of the Digital Prosperity Awards (DPA), opening applications and nominations until Jan 4, 2027, for public-sector, private-sector and civil-society digital solutions across its member states and beyond.

The awards recognise technology-driven solutions, initiatives and contributions that deliver measurable socio-economic impact, accelerate digital transformation and advance an inclusive, sustainable and prosperous digital economy. The inaugural edition honoured seven winners in February 2025.

“A prosperous digital future is taking shape today through the vision, commitment and creativity of governments, innovators, organisations and communities that embrace digital cooperation. Together, they are turning possibility into progress and technology into tangible, measurable impact in people’s lives.

“Through the second edition of the Digital Prosperity Awards, we celebrate exceptional solutions that advance digital prosperity for all,” said DCO Secretary-General, Deemah AlYahya in a statement.

Under the theme “Building the Future, Today”, the second edition recognises solutions that improve access to services, empower communities, enable business growth, advance innovation and widen digital participation.

The awards feature seven categories spanning Digital Enablers, Digital Innovation and Digital Society, alongside three flagship prizes recognising digital prosperity across member states and beyond.

“We are looking for solutions that can prove their value, not simply describe their ambition. The strongest entries will show that they are solving a real challenge, delivering measurable results, and have the potential to extend that impact beyond their current context,” said DCO Chief of Digital Economy Intelligence, Alaa Abdulaal.

The organisation said entries would undergo eligibility and due diligence checks, followed by evaluation by an international expert panel against approved criteria. Winners will be honoured at the Digital Prosperity Awards ceremony in 2027.
