LSH Capital Set To Benefit From More Infrastructure Projects, PPP Initiatives

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s construction industry is expected to benefit from greater infrastructure development over the next three years, particularly through highway projects and public-private partnership (PPP) initiatives, said Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd (LSH Capital).

Chairman Tan Sri Lim Keng Cheng said highway infrastructure projects could generate spillover benefits across industries, including services, consultancy, architecture, engineering and food and beverage.

“The development of infrastructure, including highways and high-rise buildings, could also support traffic dispersal and urban development.

At 9 am, LSH Capital opened higher at RM1.78 on its Main Market debut, reflecting a three sen premium from its Wednesday’s close of RM1.75.

The transfer to the Main Market comes a year and a half after LSH transferred to the ACE Market from the LEAP Market in March 2025. The company was listed on the LEAP Market in July 2021.
