Zetrix AI In Discussions To Resolve Issues As JPJ Services Temporarily Suspended
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- Zetrix AI Bhd said it is currently in discussions to resolve issues with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) following the temporary suspension of its services to the department effective today.
The company confirmed in a stock exchange filing today that JPJ services would be temporarily suspended effective Oct 5, 2026. On Oct 2, JPJ announced that services provided by MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd under the MYEG Group as its collection agents would be suspended from 12.01 am on Oct 5.
Zetrix AI said it would make further announcements on any material development.
The clarification was issued in reference to a news article appearing in The Edge Malaysia and a notice from JPJ, both dated Oct 2, 2026, it added.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the decision to suspend the company’s services was made after considering compliance with the terms and conditions of their agreements and obligations that remained unfulfilled or unresolved.
He said all JPJ services previously offered through MYEG Group channels would be suspended, while the department’s services would continue as usual through official and alternative channels.
