KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Tuesday.

The September 2026 contract fell 24.5 points to 1,637.0, October 2026 slid 29 points to 1,632.0, December 2026 erased 25 points to 1,641.5, and the March 2027 contract slipped 24 points to 1,626.5.

Turnover declined to 31,168 lots from 73,636 lots on Monday, while open interest tumbled to 72,700 contracts from 125,759 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 26.06 points, or 1.56 per cent, to 1,643.96, from Monday’s close of 1,670.02.
