Jati Tinggi Wins RM72.84 Mln Data Centre Power Infrastructure Contract

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- Jati Tinggi Group Bhd’s (JTGroup) wholly-owned subsidiary, Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM72.84 million contract to undertake critical power infrastructure works for a data centre development in Selangor.

JTGroup stated in a Bursa Malaysia filing that the contract involves the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a 275-kilovolt PMU Megasteel cable connection to the Consumer Landing Station for a data centre at Banting Technology Park in Banting, Selangor.

The contract is expected to be completed by Jan 15, 2027, and is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company over the duration of the contract, said the group.

In a statement, JTGroup managing director Datuk Lim Yeong Seong said the award reflects the expanding opportunities for the company beyond its traditional utility-related projects.

“As power-intensive developments such as data centres continue to grow, we are seeing increasing demand from the private sector for both medium- and high-voltage power infrastructure.

“With our order book now standing at approximately RM1.1 billion, we are encouraged by the growing diversity of our project portfolio,” he said.
