KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Thursday.

The August 2026 contract dropped 7.5 points to 1,743.5; September 2026 lost 13 points to 1,723.0, while the December 2026 and March 2027 contracts slid 10 points each to 1,727.0 and 1,710.5, respectively.

Turnover declined to 52,147 lots from Wednesday’s close of 111,565 lots, while open interest contracted to 104,433 contracts from 159,186.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slid 6.82 points to 1,741.72, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,748.54.
