Mavenir, Sanas Partnership Brings Speech AI To Mobile Networks

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- Mavenir, a provider of cloud-native, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled mobile network software, and Sanas, a real-time Speech AI platform for enterprise and global communications, have partnered to integrate Sanas' Speech AI into Mavenir's MAVcore Voice AI portfolio.

The integration will enable communication service providers to deliver AI-powered voice services directly from mobile core networks, including real-time translation, speech enhancement and deepfake detection.

“Together with Sanas, Mavenir is enabling operators to transform voice from a connectivity service into a monetisable, AI-powered experience,” said Mavenir President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Pardeep Kohli.

Meanwhile, Sanas Co-Founder and CEO, Sharath Keshava Narayana said the partnership would bring a new layer of intelligence directly into carrier networks to improve communication quality, strengthen security and create new opportunities for operators.

In a statement, Mavenir said the technology can enable calls to be conducted in a caller's preferred language while maintaining HD Voice quality and meeting data-residency, regulatory and sovereign AI requirements. Sanas' Speech AI platform enables real-time communication across languages, accents and environments.

Through its Language Assist partnership with MicroAutomation, the technology is also used to help 911 dispatchers hear callers in English as they speak, without an interpreter or delay.

The partnership will also address voice-cloning fraud, with Sanas' technology providing deepfake detection and fraud-signal capabilities to help operators identify synthetic-voice attacks.

The joint solution will be orchestrated through Mavenir's AI Agent Studio, allowing operators to manage services, optimise costs and develop and monetise new conversational AI applications.

Mavenir and Sanas will begin joint technical validation, with commercial availability for operators to follow.
