KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Wednesday.

The August 2026 contract rose six points to 1,730.5, September 2026 gained five points to 1,709.0, December 2026 added 5.5 points to 1,710.5 and March 2027 went up 4.5 points to 1,691.0.

Turnover increased to 10,065 lots from 9,608 lots on Tuesday, while open interest grew to 46,972 contracts from 44,960 contracts previously.
