VSTECS Shares Rise 3.42 Pct In Early Trade After Firmer 2Q Results

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (Bernama) -- VSTECS Bhd’s share price rose 3.42 per cent in early trade today after the company announced its net profit for the second quarter of 2026.

At 10.17 am, its shares gained six sen to RM1.81 with 5.23 million shares traded.

The information technology provider posted a 50 per cent increase in net profit to RM30.31 million from RM20.17 million in the same period a year ago, driven by growth across all business segments.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, it said the revenue jumped 31.7 per cent to RM1.08 billion from RM818.87 million previously.

The performance was driven by higher sales across all three business segments -- information and communications technology (ICT) distribution, enterprise systems, and ICT services.
