KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Monday.

The August 2026 and March 2027 contracts gained 6.5 points to 1,736.0 and 1,700.5, respectively, while September 2026 rose 7.5 points to 1,715.0, and December 2026 added five points to 1,714.0.

Turnover decreased to 4,899 lots from 7,971 lots on Friday last week, while open interest shrank to 45,567 contracts from 49,170 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.38 of a point to 1,735.37 from last Friday’s close of 1,735.75.
