KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Monday. 

The July 2026 contract fell by 12 points to 1,725.5, the August 2026 contract lost 10.5 points to 1,726.5, while the September 2026 and December 2026 contracts decreased 11 points each to 1,705 and 1,707.5, respectively.

Turnover fell to 6,878 lots compared with 7,348 last Friday, while open interest inched down to 47,482 contracts from 47,501 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI lost 9.16 points, or 0.52 per cent, to close at 1,722.29 from last Friday’s close of 1,731.45.
