KLCI Futures Open Marginally Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened marginally lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday.

At 9.30 am, the July 2026 contract eased half a point to 1,727, while August 2026 eased 1.5 points to 1,727, September 2026 decreased one point to 1,707, and December 2026 was down two points to 1,707.

Turnover stood at 1,601 lots, while open interest totalled 42,000 contracts.

At 9.50 am, the FBM KLCI was 4.41 points firmer at 1,726.60 against Thursday’s close of 1,722.19.
