KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Friday.

The July 2026 contract gained 16.0 points to 1,699.50. The August 2026 and December 2026 contracts each rose 17.0 points to 1,701.0 and 1,683.0, respectively, while September 2026 contract advanced 17.5 points to 1,681.0.

Turnover increased to 7,785 lots from 5,815 lots on Thursday, while open interest climbed to 40,493 contracts from 36,724 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 13.85 points to 1,691.49 from Thursday's close of 1,677.64.
