Pahang Export Day 2026 Best Platform For Local Companies To Expand Globally -- MATRADE
KUANTAN, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- The upcoming Pahang Export Day 2026 on Sept 7 will be the best platform for local companies to expand their involvement globally, boosting Pahang’s position in the international trade arena.
The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) said in a statement today that Pahang has a strong foundation with 146 companies registered under MATRADE’s Malaysian Exporter Database (MER) as of July 2026, thus opening up extensive market prospects for more local entrepreneurs to take advantage of.
“This figure opens up a very large market potential to be exploited, thus becoming a golden opportunity for more local entrepreneurs to register, explore export advisory services, and increase the percentage of Pahang companies’ involvement in the global arena,” it said.
MATRADE said it is committed to driving the state’s export momentum, which reached RM38.46 billion by 2025, while also using the programme as a platform to provide exposure to various support services from government and private institutions.
“Pahang Export Day 2026 aims to support the state government in producing more competitive exporters among entrepreneurs, in line with the state’s entrepreneurial aspirations and policies,” it said.
The agency expressed confidence that Pahang is home to many high-potential companies that can expand into international markets with continued support from the country’s trade ecosystem.
A total of 200 local entrepreneurs, especially micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), are expected to participate in the programme organised by MATRADE, to be held at the Grand Darul Makmur Hotel here.
