KLCI Futures Open Mixed

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened mixed on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today.

At 9.30 am, the July 2026 contract fell 2.0 points to 1,683.0, while the August 2026 contract eased 0.5 of a point to 1,684.0. The September 2026 contract rose 1.5 points to 1,666.5, and the December 2026 contract edged up 0.5 of a point to 1,667.5.

Turnover stood at 1,675 lots, while open interest totalled 32,338 contracts.

At 9.49 am, the FBM KLCI was 2.39 points higher at 1,685.32, compared with Tuesday's close of 1,682.93.
