Darwinbox Appoints Pannie Sia To Lead Southeast Asia Growth 

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 (Bernama) -- Darwinbox, an artificial intelligence (AI)-native human capital management (HCM) platform for Asia-first enterprises, has appointed Pannie Sia as regional vice president for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

According to Darwinbox in a statement, Sia will lead the company’s go-to-market strategy, sales team development and enterprise customer growth across the three markets.

The appointment comes as Darwinbox expands its enterprise presence in Southeast Asia following the launch of Darwinbox Cortex, its AI-native platform designed to support organisations across the employee lifecycle.

Darwinbox co-founder, Rohit Chennamaneni said Southeast Asia is showing strong momentum in scaling with AI, adding that Sia’s two decades of experience across the Asia Pacific (APAC) will help the company deepen its presence in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Sia said Darwinbox’s ability to integrate technology and people, combined with its understanding of the distinct operating environments in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, positions the company to help enterprises adopt AI-native human resources (HR) technology.

Sia brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology experience from IBM, SAP, Workday and ServiceNow, having worked with organisations across APAC and Japan through major shifts in technology, business models and the workplace.

Her career has included building and scaling regional teams, growing enterprise businesses and advising customers across diverse markets. Her appointment reflects Darwinbox’s continued investment in regional leadership as enterprises across APAC and Japan accelerate adoption of agentic and AI-native HR infrastructure. 

Darwinbox has a growing Southeast Asian customer base spanning industries, with clients including Banyan Group, Singlife, Singapore Land, Indorama, Sembcorp, Traveloka, Carsome and UEM Group.
