KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today.

At 9.30 am, the July 2026 and September 2026 contracts each slipped 2.5 points to 1,683.0 and 1,664.50, respectively, the August 2026 contract slid two points to 1,685.0, while the December 2026 contract decreased 3.5 points to 1,665.0.

Turnover stood at 726 lots, while open interest totalled 30,049 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI was 4.70 points lower at 1,678.83 compared with Monday's close of 1,683.53.
