KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 1 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday, in line with the positive underlying cash market.

At 9.33 am, the July 2026 contract increased four points to 1,674.5, the August 2026 and September 2026 contracts rose 5.5 points each to 1,676.0 and 1,659.0, respectively, while the December 2026 contract climbed 3.5 points to 1,659.5.

Turnover stood at 1,960 lots, while open interest totalled 29,907 contracts.

At 10.07 am, the FBM KLCI was 3.37 points higher at 1,667.43 from Tuesday’s close of 1,664.06.
