KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower in line with a softer performance in the cash market. 

The June 2026 contract fell three points to 1,668.0, July 2026 dropped 5.5 points to 1,670.5, September 2026 decreased five points to 1,653.5, and December 2026 was 3.5 points lower at 1,656.0.

Turnover declined to 12,448 lots from 30,793 lots on Monday, while open interest slipped to 42,022 contracts from 62,025 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 1.85 points to 1,664.06 from Monday’s close of 1,665.91.
