KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday, despite gains in the underlying cash market.

At 9.15 am, the June 2026 contract fell 10.0 points to 1,661.5, July 2026 dropped 11.5 points to 1,664.5, September 2026 slipped 10.5 points to 1,648.0, and December 2026 trimmed 9.5 points to 1,650.0.

Turnover stood at 3,534 lots, while open interest totalled 37,081 contracts.

At 9.51 am, the FBM KLCI was 3.39 points lower at 1,662.52 from Monday’s close of 1,665.91.
