KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday, mirroring gains in the underlying cash market.

At 9.26 am, the June 2026 contract rose eight points to 1,673.50, the July 2026 and September 2026 contracts gained 7.5 points each to 1,674.50 and 1,655.50 respectively, and the December 2026 contract perked up four points to 1,654.0.

Turnover stood at 10,902 lots, while open interest totalled 46,417 contracts.

At 9.45 am, the FBM KLCI was 3.10 points higher at 1,666.92 from Thursday's close of 1,663.82.
