KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- Proton Holdings Bhd is calling for a long-term and technology-inclusive automotive policy in Budget 2027 to support the industry’s transition towards electrified vehicles (xEVs).
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) is proposing that the government provide a personal income tax rebate for the purchase of electrified vehicles (xEVs) and voluntarily scrapping of old vehicles in the 2027 Budget.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 26 (Bernama) -- Proton Holdings Bhd expects its total vehicle sales to reach 200,000 units in 2026, which will mark its highest annual sales performance in 15 years, following a strong first-half (1H) performance.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s total industry volume (TIV) is now projected to reach 800,000 units in 2026, up from the earlier forecast of 790,000 units, driven by stronger-than-expected demand, according to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA).
