Can Marine To Resell Amazon Leo Satellite Internet

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- Singapore-based Can Marine Systems Pte Ltd has signed an agreement to become an authorised reseller of Amazon Leo, Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network, for its maritime connectivity services.

Can Marine will provide Amazon Leo connectivity through its Canopus Platform, which combines satellite and cellular services with onboard network controls, crew access controls and remote management, as part of its maritime connectivity and onboard information technology (IT) services.

“Our role is to make new networks work within the way our customers operate their vessels. Amazon Leo will broaden what we can deliver through the Canopus Platform, with Can Marine accountable for the service,” said Can Marine Systems Director, Lim Ding Liang in a statement.
