FBM KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded higher in the early session today.  

At 9.40 am, the October 2026 contract rose 3.5 points to 1,609.0, November 2026 gained 4.0 points to 1,611.0, December 2026 added 3.5 points to 1,617.0, while March 2027 increased 4.0 points to 1,600.0. 

Turnover stood at 1,610 lots, while open interest totalled 40,075 contracts.

After 52 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI edged up 0.19 of-a-point to 1,608.33 from Thursday’s close of 1,608.14.
