Magna Prima Proposes Change Of Name To Hallson Group

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Magna Prima Bhd has proposed to change its company name to Hallson Group Bhd.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, the property development company said the use of the proposed new name had been approved and reserved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) on Oct 19, 2026.

“The proposed change of name is subject to the approval of the company's shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting to be convened at a later date.

“A circular containing details of the proposed change will be issued to shareholders in due course,” it said.

It added that if approved by shareholders, the proposed change of name will take effect from the date of issuance of the notice of registration of new name by the CCM to the company.
