LYC Healthcare To Face Trading Suspension, Delisting After Failing To Appoint Sponsor

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- LYC Healthcare Bhd will face a suspension of trading on Oct 27, 2026 and will be delisted from Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd two days later.

This action follows the company’s failure to appoint a new sponsor after the termination of UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn Bhd as its sponsor on Oct 16, 2026, said the healthcare company in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.

The proposed delisting could be deferred if the company submits an appeal to Bursa Securities by Oct 26. However, trading in its securities will still be suspended on Oct 27, even if the appeal decision remains pending.

Upon delisting, LYC Healthcare will continue to operate as an unlisted entity and may proceed with its business activities and corporate restructuring.

“The company is still able to continue its operations and business and proceed with its corporate restructuring, and its shareholders can still be rewarded by the company’s performance.

“However, the shareholders will be holding shares which are no longer quoted and traded on Bursa Securities,” it said.
