Horizon3 Sets Up ASEAN Headquarters In Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- Cybersecurity firm Horizon3 is setting up its ASEAN headquarters and a regional centre of excellence in Singapore, backed by new investments from EDBI and its parent, SG Growth Capital, the investment platform set up by the Singapore Economic Development Board and Enterprise Singapore.

Horizon3 said in a statement the expansion was aimed at meeting growing demand in Southeast Asia for continuous security testing as artificial intelligence (AI)-driven cyberattacks increase in speed, scale and sophistication.

“As AI compresses attack timelines from months to hours, the strategic question for security leaders is not how many vulnerabilities they have, but whether they can continuously validate what is actually exploitable and verify that remediation has reduced business risk,” said Horizon3 chief executive officer and co-founder, Snehal Antani.

The Singapore base will also support the company’s expansion in Australia and Japan, and Horizon3 plans to increase local headcount as it scales its sales, customer and partner operations.

The expansion follows Horizon3’s US$250 million Series E funding round in August 2026, which valued the company at more than US$2 billion. (US$1 = RM4.07)

Singapore’s Cyber Security Agency (CSA) reported that infected infrastructure in Singapore rose 142 per cent in 2025 to 284,300 systems, with threat actors increasingly using AI to carry out attacks.

Horizon3’s NodeZero platform autonomously identifies attack paths, provides guidance on fixing weaknesses and retests systems to confirm the fixes work.

The company will use its Singapore base to expand sales across Southeast Asia, deepen partnerships with local managed security service providers, systems integrators and cloud providers, and work with CSA-led initiatives on AI for cybersecurity.
