SAIC Motor Malaysia To Launch Locally Assembled MG ZS SUV This Month From RM105,000
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- SAIC Motor Malaysia Sdn Bhd plans to introduce the locally assembled MG ZS sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Malaysia by the end of October, with two variants available: the MG ZS 1.5 Turbo and MG ZS Hybrid+.
SAIC Motor Malaysia, a subsidiary of China’s SAIC Motor Corp., Ltd. and the official distributor of MG vehicles in Malaysia, announced in a statement today that the estimated price is RM105,000 for the Turbo variant and RM115,000 for the Hybrid+ variant (Peninsula Malaysia, excluding insurance), coupled with booking benefits.
The MG ZS Hybrid+ features a dedicated hybrid powertrain and a 3-speed hybrid transmission.
“Together, these technologies offer an attractive package that combines performance, efficiency and outstanding value,” said SAIC Motor Malaysia managing director Emory Qi.
The MG ZS is available in Flare Red, Silver, Andes Grey and York White, paired with a premium all-black interior featuring perforated leatherette seats.
The first 1,000 customers to book before Oct 30, 2026 can enjoy exclusive benefits worth RM3,000, along with five years of complimentary maintenance.
Early bookings for the MG ZS 1.5 Turbo and MG ZS Hybrid+ can be made through the official MG Malaysia website at www.mgmalaysia.com.
Visitors can also view the all-new MG ZS Hybrid+ at Nexus Bangsar South from Oct 19 to 23.
