IJM Corporation Bags RM1.23 Bln Construction Contract For AT&S Facilities In Kedah
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- IJM Corporation Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for a design and build contract worth about RM1.23 billion.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract involves the construction of a four-storey production facility, a three-storey central utility building and a single-storey wastewater treatment facility at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.
“The project is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is expected to be completed within 14 months from the commencement date,” it said.
IJM Corporation added that the project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the group starting from the financial year ending 2027.
