Yakini MADANI Roadshow To Promote Budget 2027 Initiatives - Fahmi
KOTA KINABALU, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The Communications Ministry will help the Finance Ministry publicise initiatives and programmes to be announced under Budget 2027 through the nationwide Yakini MADANI roadshow.
Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil said the initiative would involve all agencies and departments under his ministry, including the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Information Department.
“Besides submitting proposals from the communications, postal and courier, and creative industries, the Communications Ministry will play a key role in helping the Finance Ministry disseminate information on all programmes announced under Budget 2027,”
Fahmi said this when opening the Inanam Sentral National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI), attended by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Mustapha Sakmud, who is also Sepanggar MP.
He said the initiative would begin with a Budget 2027 briefing for MADANI communities nationwide on Sunday night, conducted by Finance Ministry representatives.
“Following that, we will embark on a nationwide roadshow with the Finance Ministry under the Yakini MADANI programme.
“I will ensure that MCMC, the Information Department and all agencies under the Communications Ministry are involved in providing venues where the public can obtain comprehensive information on government programmes announced under Budget 2027,” he said.
