FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Monday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At 9.43 am, the October 2026 and November 2026 contracts rose 7.0 points each to 1,629.50 and 1,630.0, respectively. December 2026 contract added 8.5 points to 1,637.50, and March 2027 contract gained 6.5 points to 1,620.0.

Turnover stood at 1,306 lots, while open interest totalled 42,323 contracts.

At 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI firmed 6.15 points to 1,637.02 from last Friday’s close of 1,630.87.
