OpenMove AI Appoints Steven Lim As Group CEO
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- OpenMove AI Bhd has appointed Steven Lim Kee Seng as group chief executive officer (CEO) effective Oct 1, 2026, as part of a senior leadership reorganisation to broaden the group’s revenue streams.
The software company said current CEO Gallen Lee Choon Teng will assume the role of business CEO, focusing on its existing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business.
OpenMove AI chairman Tengku Tan Sri Mohamad Rizam Abdul Aziz said Lim’s experience in technology, corporate transformation and strategic business development is expected to contribute to the group’s next phase of growth.
“Our new leadership structure will allow us to place greater focus on strengthening our existing businesses as a leading SaaS solutions provider, while enabling us to explore new business streams across different industries,” he said.
The company said Lim has more than 30 years of experience in national security solutions, corporate restructuring, information and communications technology development, transformation and strategic business development across ASEAN.
Lim’s previous positions include senior regional business consultant at NEC Asia Pacific, TIME Engineering Bhd group CEO, and Multimedia Development Corporation chief corporate strategy officer.
The group also said Nicholas Tan Chin Yau has resigned as chief operating officer effective Oct 1, to pursue other personal goals and interests.
