Univar Solutions Expands Dow Distribution Agreement In North America

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- Univar Solutions USA LLC (Univar Solutions), through its Ingredients + Specialties (I+S) from the Univar Solutions division, has expanded its agreement with Dow to distribute speciality ingredients for homecare and industrial cleaning applications across the United States and Canada.

In a statement, Univar Solutions said the agreement enhances access to Dow’s SupraCare portfolio of polymers and speciality additives, which support cleaning performance and formulation flexibility, and changing market expectations.

Univar Solutions sales director for Homecare & Industrial Cleaning, Danny Kenyon said the expanded collaboration would strengthen the company’s ability to provide speciality ingredients for the development of next-generation homecare and industrial cleaning products.

Meanwhile, Dow global cleaning platform director, Juan Pablo Watty said the collaboration would provide customers with access to cleaning ingredients designed to meet performance and sustainability requirements.

The SupraCare portfolio is designed for applications including dishwashing and laundry care, offering benefits such as enhanced foaming, hard-surface cleaning, improved sensory feel and optimised softening, according to the company.

Univar Solutions said customers would also have access to technical expertise, market insights and application-focused formulation support through its speciality ingredients team and global Solution Center network.

The company’s Solution Center network includes a homecare and industrial cleaning laboratory in Houston, Texas, where its teams work with customers on product development and formulation solutions.
