Gold Futures Close Lower, Tracking Losses In US COMEX
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (Bernama) -- Gold futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, following the decline in gold futures on the United States Commodity Exchange (US COMEX).
At the close, the spot-month September 2026 contract decreased to US$4,295.50 per troy ounce from US$4,353.50 per troy ounce on last Friday, and October 2026 slid to US$4,310.80 per troy ounce from US$4,368.70 per troy ounce.
November 2026 slipped to US$4,326.60 per troy ounce from US$4,384.00 per troy ounce, while December 2026, February 2027 and April 2027 all fell to US$4,334.40 per troy ounce from US$4,391.80 per troy ounce previously.
Trading volume declined to 302 lots from 413 lots last Friday, while open interest shrank to 358 contracts from 469 contracts.
Physical gold was fixed at US$4,368.25 per troy ounce at the London Bullion Market Association’s afternoon fix on Sept 11, 2026.
