Sidec Names 24 Finalists For Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (Bernama) -- The Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) has named 24 finalists for the Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026, with the startups set to compete at the grand final demo day on Oct 14.

The finalists comprise eight startups from each of the programme’s three accelerator tracks -- Deep-X, Retail-X and Token-X -- and were selected after showcase days held at Menara Affin, Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur, from Aug 18-20, Sidec said in a recent statement.

It said the programme attracted 511 applications, from which 90 startups were selected to participate across the three tracks before being narrowed down to the final 24.

Sidec chief executive officer Yong Kai Ping said reaching the Top 24 reflected the progress, commitment and growth demonstrated by the founders throughout the programme.

“They have refined their strategies, sharpened their investment readiness and built the confidence to take their ventures to the next stage.

“We look forward to seeing them showcase that growth at the final demo day,” he said.

Sidec said the grand final demo day will be held on Oct 14 at the Plenary Theatre, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, in conjunction with the AI & Semiconductor Summit (AiSEM@Selangor).

It said that, at the grand final, the startups will present their businesses and solutions to a panel of judges and industry stakeholders, with the final round determining the champion of each accelerator track.

The three track champions will each receive RM20,000 in cash, while all 12 winners will receive trophies and certificates, as well as the opportunity to participate in an international exposure programme involving regional markets, industry ecosystems and investment opportunities, it added.
