At 12.30 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI FBM KLCI declined 17.18 points, or 1.00 per cent, to 1,688.34 from Thursday’s close of 1,705.52.

The benchmark index, which opened 0.23 points lower at 1,705.29, moved between 1,687.44 and 1,705.69 during the morning session.
