FBM KLCI Futures Opens Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Friday.

At 9.20 am, the September 2026 contract fell 4.5 points to 1,678.0, the October 2026 contract eased 2.0 points to 1,680.0, the December 2026 contract shed 4.5 points to 1,683.0, and the March 2027 contract gave up 1.5 points to 1,670.5.

Turnover stood at 952 lots, while open interest totalled 39,966 contracts.

At 9.40 am, the FBM KLCI eased 8.28 points to 1,697.24 from Thursday’s close of 1,705.52.
