KLCI Futures Close Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly lower on Tuesday.

The September 2026 contract fell 16 points to 1,671.00, October 2026 shed 6.0 points to 1,680.5, December 2026 decreased 11 points to 1,681.5, while March 2027 added 9.0 points to 1,686.0.

Turnover advanced to 6,573 lots from 4,112 lots on Tuesday, while open interest climbed to 44,267 contracts from 42,025 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.39 of a point to 1,714.40 from Monday’s close of 1,714.79.
