FBM KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Tuesday.

At 9.26 am, the September 2026 contracts slid 8.5 points to 1,678.50, October 2026 decreased nine points to 1,677.50, while December 2026 and March 2027 fell 11.0 points each to 1,681.50 and 1,666.00, respectively.

Turnover was at 2,140, while open interest totalled 39,868 contracts.

At 9.44 am, the FBM KLCI decreased by 2.38 points to 1,712.41 from Monday’s close of 1,714.79.
