Vestland Bags RM263.73 Mln Dual-function Wall Project In Kelantan
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 (Bernama) -- Vestland Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Vestland Infra Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from Johnson Fluid Engineering Sdn Bhd for a RM263.73 million dual-function wall project in Kelantan.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company said the contract involves the construction and completion of a dual-function sheet pile wall and associated works in Sungai Golok, Kelantan, including structural and bridge works.
“Completion of the contract works shall be on April 14, 2028, with the commencement date on Sept 21, 2026,” it said.
In a separate statement, Vestland joint managing director Datuk Liew Foo Heen said the contract marked another significant achievement in the company’s strategic expansion into flood mitigation and infrastructure development.
“It strengthens our capabilities in this sector, positioning the group to pursue larger and more complex infrastructure and climate resilience projects.
“We are committed to delivering this project successfully and contributing to efforts to address the long-standing flooding issues in the region,” he said.
Vestland said the latest contract brings its contract wins for financial year 2026 to RM1.1 billion and its outstanding order book to RM1.5 billion, strengthening earnings visibility.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets throughout the contract period, it added.
