KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Friday.

The August 2026 and December 2026 contracts dropped 21.5 points to 1,722.0 and 1,705.5, respectively, while September 2026 shed 23 points to 1,700 and March 2027 slid 22 points to 1,688.5.

Turnover declined to 13,094 lots from Thursday’s close of 52,147 lots, while open interest contracted to 54,810 contracts from 104,433.
