FBM KLCI Futures Open Mostly Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher on Friday.

At 9.18 am, the August 2026 and December 2026 contracts inched up 0.5 of a point higher to 1,744.0 and 1,727.5, respectively, while March 2027 gained two points to 1,712.5, but September 2026 was 0.5 points lower at 1,722.5.

Turnover was at 1,271, while open interest totalled 49,054 contracts.

At 10.14 am, the FBM KLCI slid by 4.22 points to 1,736.75 from Thursday’s close of 1,741.72.
