Eco Ardence, Missi Care Sign Mou To Establish 24-hour Care Hub
SHAH ALAM, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- Eco Ardence and Missi Care Sdn Bhd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a 24-hour Care Hub at the township’s first low-rise villas, with Missi Care appointed as the exclusive operator of the Care Hub.
The MoU was signed by Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) chief development officer (Eco Central-North and Eco Business Park) Datuk Ho Kwee Hong and Missi Care Sdn Bhd founder Dr Lim Chin Seng at the Eco Ardence Sales Gallery here today.
The villas, which are scheduled for launch this year, are the first low-rise homes at Eco Ardence, a 216.07-hectare freehold township in Setia Alam here, developed as a joint venture between EcoWorld and Cascara Sdn Bhd.
The villas are planned around a resort setting, with a low-density layout aimed at providing households with greater privacy and more open space.
Residents will have access to 38 facilities, including the Care Hub, which will provide 24-hour caregiver support, house visits within stipulated hours, professional health advice, first aid treatment, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) emergency response, as well as medical liaison and referral assistance.
Basic health assessments covering blood pressure and temperature will be provided complimentary.
Ho said the developer wanted to provide facilities that residents could use in their daily lives while also offering support during emergencies.
“We wanted one that residents would use on an ordinary day, and one a family would be grateful for on a difficult day. A Care Hub does both.
“Many Malaysian households live across three generations under one roof, with young children and ageing parents in the same home. When help is needed, it is needed quickly, and having trained caregivers on site keeps that help close to home,” he said in a statement today.
Ho said Eco Ardence had grown into a township for families at every stage of life, while the villas were designed to cater to such families.
“Curating care services inside a residential development is how we make ageing in place real in the townships we build. We are grateful to Missi Care for coming on board from day one. Having them on site makes this service part of the development itself,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lim said integrating round-the-clock caregiving services and daily health programmes into Eco Ardence would provide residents with greater peace of mind.

Access to the Care Hub is included in residents’ maintenance fees, as it is part of the villas’ facilities. However, individual services, such as wound dressing and glucose checks, will incur separate charges.
The Care Hub will conduct daily and monthly wellness activities, including morning exercise, board games, health monitoring, health talks, handicraft and baking sessions, and will open upon completion of the villas.
