Nuenergy Secures RM44.5 Mln Data Centre-related Job In Johor

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- Nuenergy Holdings Bhd (NHB) has accepted a letter of award (LoA) worth RM44.5 million from a construction and engineering company in China to undertake mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for the development of a consumer landing station building for a data centre in Johor.

NHB said the award represents a significant milestone for the group as it is its largest high-voltage project to date.

“The successful execution of the LoA will validate the group's technical capability and execution capacity in delivering complex extra high voltage (EHV) infrastructure projects in the data centre segment,” the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

NHB said the contract is expected to contribute positively to NHB's order book, revenue and profitability, while strengthening the group's track record and data centre credentials in the EHV sector.

The project is expected to be completed in fourth quarter 2026, it added.
